CB’S DEVELOPMENT SERVICES · CHASE BROWN

Built around how your business actually runs.

Senior engineering for established organizations whose critical work still runs on spreadsheets, inboxes and systems that don’t talk to each other.

Talk through your next bottleneck

Connected systems, automated processes, trusted reporting and practical AI, for operations, finance, IT and engineering leaders.

The engineer you meet is the engineer who builds it.See where we help

01 / WHAT WE SOLVE

If one of these sounds familiar,
it’s worth a conversation.

Where the work
gets stuck.

Most established organizations don’t need another platform. They need the systems they already pay for to work together, and the processes in between to stop depending on workarounds and heroics.

01

Month-end lives in
one person’s spreadsheet.

Critical processes run on spreadsheets, inboxes and handoffs that only one or two people understand. We map the process and turn the repeatable parts into a documented, monitored workflow, with approvals where judgment matters.

KEY-PERSON RISK → DOCUMENTED, REPEATABLE PROCESS
02

Finance and sales
report different numbers.

Your ERP, CRM, finance, ticketing and line-of-business systems don’t talk, so people re-key data and reconcile by hand. We connect them so every record has one owner, bad data is caught before it spreads and someone hears about it when something fails.

RE-KEYING AND RECONCILIATION → CONNECTED SYSTEMS
03

The request that’s been
“next quarter” for a year.

Your IT and engineering teams are busy keeping the lights on. We add senior capacity that works within your standards and change-management process, and delivers the project they haven’t had time for.

BACKLOG → DELIVERED, IN YOUR STACK
04

The legacy system
nobody wants to touch.

Aging applications and fragile workarounds that nobody fully understands. We work out what they really do, add safeguards and monitoring, then stabilize, modernize or replace them in stages instead of one risky cutover.

FRAGILE AND UNDOCUMENTED → DOCUMENTED AND SAFE TO CHANGE
05

Leadership wants AI.
Security wants answers.

A demo is easy; everyday use is not. We take AI from pilot to daily work with clear limits on what data it can see, checks against your real cases, people approving what matters and a setup your security team can sign off.

PILOT → GOVERNED EVERYDAY USE
06

Decisions made on
last week’s numbers.

Reports are assembled by hand and out of date by the time they reach the meeting. We bring operational data into one trusted place that stays current on its own, with dashboards and alerts when something needs attention.

STALE REPORTS → CURRENT, TRUSTED DATA

02 / HOW WE WORK

Start small.
Commit when it’s proven.

Three ways to engage.
Each one stands on its own.

01 / ASSESS

A fixed-scope assessment.

A defined look at one process or system: how it works today, where it breaks, what it costs and the options to fix it. You get a written recommendation and plan you can act on, with us or without us.

02 / BUILD

Delivery in reviewable increments.

Scope, acceptance criteria and priorities are agreed up front. Work arrives in small pieces your team can see, test and approve, inside your environments and through your own approval processes.

03 / SUPPORT

Ongoing support, or a clean handoff.

Continued improvements and support if you want them. If not, documentation, runbooks and a walkthrough with your team mean you can run it without us.

No long statement of work before anyone understands the problem.
Each stage is agreed in writing before it starts.

03 / WHAT TO EXPECT

What you can count on,
in plain terms.

The questions to ask
before you sign.

Who actually does the work?
The senior engineer you speak with in the first conversation designs and builds it. No sales handoff, and no junior staff swapped in after the contract is signed.
How do you work with our IT and security teams?
Work happens in your accounts and environments, under your access controls and change-management processes. We ask only for the access the work needs; security is a default, not an extra. We are glad to sign your NDA before detailed discussions.
Do we have to replace our systems?
Usually not. We work with the ERP, CRM, finance and line-of-business systems you already have, and recommend replacing something only when the case for it is clear.
Who owns what you build?
You do. Under our agreement, the code and deliverables you pay for are yours, built on standard, well-supported technology rather than a proprietary platform you have to keep renting.
What happens when the project ends?
You get documentation, runbooks and a walkthrough for your team, so you can operate and extend the work without depending on us. Ongoing support is available, not required.
How do we avoid another stalled project?
Start with a fixed-scope assessment before any larger commitment. After that, work arrives in small increments you can review, so problems surface early, while they are still cheap to fix.

04 / WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

The engineer you meet
does the work.

I’m Chase Brown. I lead every engagement personally, from the first assessment to the handoff.

My background is engineering leadership and years of building systems for operations, data, AI and security.

That range matters when a problem crosses boundaries: an integration that touches finance data, an AI feature that has to satisfy your security team, an operational system that can’t go down.

START WITH THE PROBLEM

What’s stuck, and
what’s it costing?

Tell me which process or system is holding things up, who it affects and what happens if it stays the way it is. If it’s a fit, the usual next step is a short call and a fixed-scope assessment.

Keep it high level: no passwords, personal data or confidential records. If the details are sensitive, say so and we can sign an NDA first.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT

A conversation with the engineer.
A clear, written scope.
A plan you can act on.

START A CONVERSATION

Describe the problem.

Useful to include: your role and team, the systems involved (for example ERP, CRM or spreadsheets), how many people it affects and what a good outcome looks like. Leave out confidential details.
